Biography
Anna Marie Cruz is an experienced economic development leader, business consultant, and wellness coach. Driven by her passion to use business for social impact, Anna Marie founded Entrepinayship, a platform whose vision is for every Filipina to realize her full potential through entrepreneurship. As a Philippine-born immigrant, Anna Marie reflects on her parents' efforts to reunite their family and build a new life in the U.S. She is actively learning to reframe debt into gratitude and scarcity into abundance. IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
In 2015, our founder, together with other entrepinays, gathered at a Los Angeles coffee shop to commiserate and celebrate the entrepreneurial journey.
We realized quickly how much we needed this safe space to share our struggles and victories as we navigate everything in business from cash flow to work/life balance to that occasional feeling of self-doubt.
This wasn’t an event for awkward networking or to crush each other’s dreams, but a refuge for the journey that often feels lonely.

The vision for Entrepinayship is to elevate Filipina founders, creatives, and visionaries through community, connections, and resources at all stages of the entrepreneurial journey. We believe in the power of the collective and the value of “kapwa.” We know we can accomplish more together.
We also know existing gaps in our community. We address challenges like access to funding and best practices in management, mentorship for growth, and personal & leadership development.
